Jeffrey A. Rawson, President
Jeffrey A. Rawson began his full-time employment with Rawson Materials in June of 2001 after graduating from Assumption College in Worcester, MA with a Bachelor of Arts where he double majored in Sociology and Political Science and double minored in Philosophy and Anthropology. As a student of the human relations disciplines and a firm believer that it is his civic responsibility and the responsibility of Rawson Materials to give back to the communities that have provided personal and business opportunities, Mr. Rawson is a member of the Putnam Rotary Club, the Northeast Opportunities for Wellness, Inc., is a Director of the Northeastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce, the Quinebaug Valley Community College Foundation, and serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors for The Arc of Quinebaug Valley. Recently, Mr. Rawson was honored as a finalist for the Hartford Business Journal's Nonprofit Heroes Volunteer of the Year Award and was named as a Paul Harris Fellow by the Putnam Rotary Club.
Rodney J. Tulba, Vice President
Rodney Tulba has a vast educational background including careers with Ford Motor Company Air Conditioning and Pollution Control training, University of Rhode Island Basic Diesel Engine Fuel Injection and Marine Gear Training. His attendance at the Renault Diesel School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Fire Apparatus design school in Keene, New Hampshire, Fire Training School in Willimantic, Connecticut, and Metso Minerals Crusher training has contributed to his ongoing growth and success. Rodney has been employed with Rawson Materials since March of 2002 where he arrived to work as a plant maintenance technician and was quickly promoted to plant supervisor and ultimately his current position as Vice President. In his spare time, Rodney operates R. Tulba Welding & Fabrication, coaches Waterford Youth Wrestling, and is a lifetime member of the Qswegatchie Fire Department.
Steven B. Jordan, Assistant Vice President
Steve Jordan has been employed with Rawson Materials since July of 1996, initially as an equipment operator and mechanic, and was eventually promoted to Mobile Equipment Manager and Assistant Vice President. Steve resides in Sterling, Connecticut with his with wife Joyce and their three children where they enjoy farming, plowing and spending time together.
Deborah Traver, Office Manager
Debbie has been in the Accounting and Management field for more than 12 years and is an alumnus of the University of Alaska, Anchorage where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. Debbie has been employed with Rawson Materials since March of 2009 serving as office manager, responsible for the oversight of Account Payable, Accounts Receivable, and miscellaneous financial reporting. Originally born and raised in Massachusetts, Debbie moved back to the East Coast in 2008 from Anchorage, Alaska with her daughter to be closer to relatives and to enjoy the four seasons again.
Shari L. Gluck, Dispatcher
Shari Gluck joined Rawson in May of 2007. Her duties include dispatching of the truck fleet, providing quotations for specific jobs, pricing materials for customers, overseeing driver performance, maintaining driver files, oversight of regulatory and compliance with respect to DOT permits. Shari currently resides in Plainfield, Connecticut with her husband Kevin with whom she enjoys farming, snowmobiling, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
Lisa M. Harvard, Human Resources / Accounts Payable
Lisa Harvard has been employed with Rawson Materials since July of 2006, in Accounts Payable ensuring timely payment to our vendors, and in Human Resources coordinating benefits for our employees. In April of 2009, Lisa acquired her Professional in Human Resources certification. Lisa grew up in Thompson, Connecticut, where she now resides with her son.
Donna M. Faucher, Accounts Receivable
Donna Faucher has been a member of the Rawson Materials team since May of 2003 where her responsibilities include Accounts Receivable, Scale Operations and various monthly reporting protocol including DEP. Donna resides in Putnam, Connecticut with her husband and their four dogs. She has two grown sons who are the pride and joy in her life. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, day trips, walking, hiking, and reading.
